MPP flame retardant is Melamine Pyrophosphate , CAS is 15541-60-3, the solubility in water is very low, the solubility in water at 20 ℃ is 0.01%, which is insoluble in water, pH value is 5, the decomposition temperature of 1% is 320~350 ℃. MPP flame retardant belongs to the phosphorus, nitrogen expansion synergistic expansion of the flame retardant, is one of the few single flame retardant that contains phosphorus and nitrogen elements at the same time. It can also be used in combination with aluminum diethylphosphonate, piperazine pyrophosphate, etc. The formula is different according to different kinds of plastics, and MPP flame retardant is mainly produced and prepared by phosphoric acid and melamine. Flame retardant mechanism

2 The mechanism of Melamine Pyrophosphate (MPP flame retardant): mainly through the decomposition in the polymer to produce non-combustible gas, while absorbing the heat generated by the polymer.
