The flame retardant mechanism of aluminum hypophosphite is to decompose into phosphoric acid by heat and absorb the heat of the polymer, so as to play the cohesive phase flame retardant effect, and it can be used with MCA, MHB, MPP, aluminum hydroxide, and Liankou to play the synergistic flame retardant effect. Aluminum hypophosphite flame retardant has the features of high decomposition temperature, non-halogen, low smoke, good dispersion, non-hydrolysis, not easy to precipitate, excellent processing performance, etc. It can be used in the flame retardant of PP, PE, TPE, TPU, TPR, TPV, PE/EVA, EP, wires and cables, elastomers, soft rubber, water-soluble and oil-soluble coatings, rubbers, thermosetting resins and adhesives, etc. It can be used in the flame retardant of PP, TPV, TPV, TPR, TPR, TPE, TPV, TPE, TPU and TPE. Flame retardant mechanism

The flame retardant mechanism of aluminum hypophosphite can be basically understood from two aspects: controlling free radicals and dehydrating into carbon. The gas product formed during combustion contains free radicals PO-, which can capture the active intermediates HO- and H- generated during combustion, inhibit the chain reaction of free radicals so that the combustion speed is reduced until the flame is extinguished, reduce the intensity of the combustion reaction, and play a flame retardant role in the gas phase. At the same time, the degradation of Aluminum Hypophosphite Flame Retardant can also produce a large amount of Aluminum Phosphate and Aluminum Pyrophosphate, which can promote the dehydration of the material into charcoal, form a dense charcoal layer to block the transfer of materials and energy, inhibit further degradation of the internal material and combustion, thus improving the flame retardant properties of the material.
