Antioxidant 1010 has the characteristics of non-pollution, non-coloring, low volatility, good extraction resistance, non-toxic, non-flammable, non-explosive, non-corrosive, good storage stability, and compatible with most polymers. It is widely used in polyethylene PE, polypropylene PP, paraformaldehyde POM, ABS resin, PS resin, PVC and other general-purpose plastics and engineering plastics. Antioxidant 1010 has excellent and efficient antioxidant performance especially for polypropylene PP, polyethylene PE. Used together with auxiliary antioxidant DLTDP and antioxidant 168 in polypropylene resin, it can significantly improve its thermal stability, and it is one of the best performance varieties of phenolic antioxidants at present.

Antioxidant 1010 has excellent compatibility with most polymer materials; excellent initial non-coloring; high molecular weight antioxidant; excellent heat and water extraction resistance; highly efficient antioxidant and non-toxic; non-polluting and low volatility.


Application and additive amount

1, Antioxidant 1010 has good anti-aging effect in polyolefin, such as polyethylene PE, polypropylene PP, polybutylene and olefin copolymer such as EVA.

2, can be used in the polyaldehyde resin, polyamide, polyurethane, polyester, PVC, styrene homopolymer or copolymer, ABS and so on.

3, It also has good effect in elastomers, such as butyl rubber, SBS, SEBS, EPM, EPDM, adhesives.

4, It can be widely used in general plastics, engineering plastics, synthetic rubber, fibers, hot melt adhesives, resins, oils, inks, coatings and other industries.

5, In polyolefin, the amount of antioxidant 1010 is 0.05%-0.4%, the specific concentration depends on the type of resin, processing conditions and long-lasting heat stabilization requirements. The dosage of antioxidant 1010 in hot melt adhesive is 0.2%-1%, and the dosage in synthetic adhesive is 0.1%-0.5%.

It prevents the damaging effects of free radicals in polymers by coupling (i.e., terminating the reaction) or giving a hydrogen atom. Commonly used antioxidants 1010 are phenols, the biggest advantage of this type of antioxidant is that it has a minimal effect on the color of the plastic, is widely used in plastics without contaminating the product, and is generally non-toxic or low toxicity, and can be used in contact with food.
